Terron Brooks: The Soul of Broadway

Ovation Award nominee Terron Brooks delves into The Soul of Broadway with his re-interpretations of classic and contemporary Broadway songs. Twice nominated for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Award, Brooks is known for his work in Broadway’s The Lion King and Hairspray and the Emmy-winning mini-series The Temptations. The evening covers an array of Broadway favorites, such as a ’90s R&B take on Not While I’m Around from Sweeney Todd; Something’s Coming from West Side Story; and Tomorrow from Annie.
